 Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should
be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to
separate the adults of some species.

 Lifestage data
 
 Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva forms a small round
but irregular mine on the edge of the leaf. Pupates in a greyish cocoon
within the mine.
